shoulders, basically down to your hips and the muscles

direction again, vertical jump, shooting speed with both feet.

improvements in flexibility, Sprint speed, vertical jump,
shooting speed, and accuracy in passing and shooting.
OK. But generally speaking, the size
of those improvements wasn't quite as large as what the
dynamic group showed? And the studies suggested why
that might be something about fixed joint angles.
Right, Static exercises mean holding one position so you get
stronger, mainly that specific angle.
OK, but football isn't static, is it?
It's constant movement through all sorts of ranges.
Dynamic exercises involve movement.
They work the core through those different ranges.
So they mimic the game better. Potentially, yes.
They might prepare the body more effectively for the sheer
variety and continuous nature of football movements, leading to
better overall athletic development, especially young
players who are still building those movement patterns.
Right. A plank is strong, but you
rarely just hold a plank on the pitch.

positive. Several sources did stress.
We need more research. More study.
Yeah, more rigorous clinical stuff, well designed control
trials, pilot studies, bigger case series that would help us
pin down exactly how much impact different core methods have on
different aspects of performance.
